Mommy (or Daddy) & Me


Children and their adult partners will use imagination through guided discovery of basic motor skills. A fun class for parents and children to build a growing relationship through the learning of basic motor skills, coordination and tumbling. There is a focus put on eye-to-hand coordination and body awareness, all while building self-esteem and social skills for your child!

 

Little Joey’s


18 months-3 years old. Benefits of getting an early start—body awareness & control, balance & flexibility, coordination, and self confidence. Little Joeys will teach activities that build skills, strength, balance; coordination in a challenging yet age appropriate environment. It will be a fun and exciting way to enhance motor skills as they get the energy out while they learn some basic gymnastic skills.

 

Pre-Beginner Tumbling


This 45 minute, once a week class offers an introductory look into the basic uses of the gym. Pre-Beginners tumble is lots of fun for children ages 3 and up, emphasizing stretching and tumbling. Tots learn balancing, tumbling, and a progression of motor skills They will improve coordination and develop listening skills while being introduced to basic tumbling and gymnastic equipment. Warm-up activities are also designed to enhance learning.

 

Beginner Tumbling

 

This is a great class to introduce the sport of tumbling and cheerleading to your child while improving strength, flexibility and overall body confidence. Beginner classes are structured for children aged 4 and up, this class will emphasize tumbling to gain strength and coordination for progression to some work on equipment. Learn backward rolls, headstands, cartwheels, body positions, and use of all gym equipment. This is the beginning of working towards harder stills in an organized, age appropriate and safe class.

 

Advanced Beginner

 

Advanced Beginner classes are designed for children aged 5 and up who have completed the skills taught in the Beginner class. By this level, you and your student will have an understanding of tumbling and overall body awareness. Focus on strength and flexibility incorporated with more advanced skills within tumbling will ensure a solid foundation for all athletes to build on. This class is great for your child if they would like to gain tumbling skills, advance in cheerleading, stay healthy or just have fun!

 

Back Hand Spring 1

 

This class is Instructor invitation only for athletes who have successfully mastered the cartwheel, round off, handstand, backbend and back walk over. This class is an excellent place for your athlete to learn and/or perfect his or her back handspring and round-off back handspring. This class is perfect for school cheerleader looking to advance tumbling and build strength.

 

 

BHS 2/ Sub- Novice

 

The BHS 2 class is for athletes who are throwing their back hand spring and would like to take it to the next level! In the BHS 2 class students will learn to bridge from a standing back hand spring to standing multiples and round off multiples. The focus in this class is to prepare the athlete for novice, intermediate and advanced tumbling. This class is instructor invitation only based on mastered prerequisites, including strong, solid back hand spring.

 

Novice


The novice class is for those students who are already throwing a solid, clean back handspring and round off back hand spring without coaching staff assistance. This class   will concentrate on their form and working towards the round-off back handspring connections and round offs multiple back hand springs. Athletes are introduced to front tumbling within this class to enhance body control. This is a bridge class between back hand springs and more advanced tumbling. Strength and coordination are important for the safety of all students in the novice class so there is an emphasize put on building strong, healthy athletes.

 

Intermediate-Advanced

 

This class takes tumbling to the next level with tucks, layouts, twists and beyond! For safety and proper technique, the candidates for this class must have a round-off back handspring. This class is also instructor invitation only for advanced cheerleaders and tumblers with a solid tumbling background.  The Prerequisites for this class are all novice skills including standing back handspring a running round-off, back handsprings.

 

Back Hand Spring & Tucks

 

The BHS and Tuck class focuses on building both strong standing and running hand springs and tucks. This is the perfect class for cheerleaders working to grow as tumblers! This class is for students looking for focus just on back hand springs and tucks. In this class back hand springs are broken down into steps so the athlete fully understands body control during a back hand spring. This will not only improve the athletes tumbling but will allow the child to grow into a better tumbler.
